The National Conference of Volunteer Examiners Coordinators released the new 2007 General Class - Element 3 question pool on January 9th 2007. Please visit their web site for a PDF copy. http://www.ncvec.org/

This question pool will be used for all General Class - Element 3 tests starting 7/1/2007.

Last year the Technician question pool was updated and a group of Amateur Radio Operators collaborated to create the Radio Teacher Project – Technician Self Study Guide.

This free guide has been a quite a success. It can be downloaded at the Radio Teacher Project's new site www.HamElmer.com that is under construction. Or go to the original site http://radioteacher.googlepages.com

I am calling for volunteers to help make a new free General Class study guide based on the released question pool.

Please email me at if you wish to help. We need writers, editors and proof readers. Building the new General guide as a team, we will divide the work to speed up the process and review each others parts.

For an example of what the guide would look like, download the current Tech guide and see what you think. That document was created from the Tech pool and Part 97.
